Pakoras

 

What you need: Besan (Gram flour), onions, potatoes, cauliflower, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, vegetable oil and salt.

Step 1: Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin slices. Repeat the same with the onions.

Step 2: Separate the florets from the cauliflower.

Step 3: Add salt, turmeric powder and red chilli powder to the gram flour. Make the batter thin by adding water to it.

Step 4: Heat oil in a shallow pan.

Step 5: Once the oil is hot take the cut vegetables, one at a time and dip it into the flour mix before releasing in into the pan.

Step 6: Cook till they turn golden-brown.

Step 7: Enjoy the pakoras with some ketchup and hot chai.

Besan Chilla

What you need: Gram flour (Besan), finely chopped onions and green chillies, salt and butter.

Step 1: Mix besan, finely chopped onions and green chillies in a deep pan.

Step 2: Make the mixture thin by adding water to it. Try not to add too much water and keep the texture of the mix slightly thick.

Step 3: Heat butter in a flat pan.

Step 4: Add a generous amount of the mixture to the pan and with the help of a steel bowl draw a round shape out of the mix.

Step 5: Cook on both the sides and serve it with tomato ketchup.

Masala Pav

Masala Pav

 What you need: Finely chopped onions, tomatoes and capsicum, salt, butter and pav buns.

Step 1: Take a pan and add butter to it.

Step 2: To it add the finely chopped onions.

Step 3: When the onions turn golden brown add tomatoes and capsicum to the mixture.

Step 4: Add salt and a little bit water to the mixture and allow it to cook.

Step 5: In a separate pan fry the pav buns a bit till they turn golden brown.

Step 6: Top the buns with the steaming hot mixture you just prepared and enjoy it with some chai.

Paneer Bhujji

 What you need: Paneer, onions, tomatoes, salt, pepper, cumin seeds and butter.

Step 1: Finely chop the onions and the tomatoes.

Step 2: Crumble the paneer.

Step 3: Add butter to the pan. Once hot add cumin seeds to it.

Step 4: Add onions to the pan, when brown add tomatoes to it.

Step 5: Once the onion-tomato mixture is cooked well, add paneer to the mixture.

Step 6: Add salt and pepper to it as per your taste and enjoy it with some roti’s or leftover rice.

Curd Rice

 What you need: Boiled rice, curd, salt, mustard seeds and butter.

Step 1: Add curd to the boiled rice followed by salt.

Step 2: Heat butter in the pan add mustard seeds to it.

Step 3: When the mustard seeds start popping then add it to the top of your curd-rice mixture.

Step 4: Mix well and enjoy.

French toast

 What you need: Bread, butter, milk, eggs and honey.

Step 1: Take a deep pan and mix the milk, the eggs (two) and the honey.

Step 2: Keep a frying pan on the cooking station and turn on the heat. Once the pan is hot, add butter to it.

Step 3: Dip the bread with the help of a fork into the mixture of Step 1 and place it on the frying pan.

Step 4: Heat it on both the sides until they turn golden brown.

Step 5: Pour some honey over the hot toast and dig in. 

Egg Curry

 What you need: Hard boiled eggs, cumin seeds, finely chopped onions and tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and butter.

Step 1: Heat the butter in a pan and add finely chopped onions to it.

Step 2: Once the onions turn brown, add tomatoes to it.

Step 3: Take butter in a separate pan and fry the eggs in it till their white cover turns into a beautiful golden-brown.

Step 4: Add turmeric powder, pepper and salt to the curry, followed by water and let it simmer for a while.

Step 5: When the curry is thick add eggs to it and enjoy it with rice or chapattis’. 

Aloo Sandwich

 What you need: Mashed potatoes, finely chopped onions and green chilli, coriander, salt, bread and butter.

Step 1: Take the mashed potatoes in a bowl and add onions, coriander, green chilli and salt to it.

Step 2: Take a slice of bread and spread butter on it. Add the mixture to it and cover it with another slice of bread.

Step 3: Heat butter in a pan and heat the bread on both the sides till it turns golden-brown.

 What you need: Crumbled paneer, onion, bread, tomato ketchup, salt, coriander, red pepper and butter.

Step 1: Take a pan and mix finely chopped onions to the crumbled paneer.

Step 2: Further add salt, red pepper, coriander and tomato ketchup to the mixture and keep it aside.

Step 3: Take the bread and cut its crusts from all the sides.

Step 4: Roll out the bread with the help of a belan. Try to make it as thin as possible

Step 5: Add the mixture to the bread and turn it into a roll.

Step 6: Take a frying pan add butter to it and heat the roll till it turns crispy golden brown.

Phodnicha Bhaat

What you need: Leftover rice, chopped onions, cumin seeds, coriander, butter, turmeric powder and salt.

Step 1: Heat butter in the pan and add cumin seeds to it.

Step 2: Further add and cook onions till they turn brown.

Step 3: Add the rice to it and toss it with some salt and turmeric powder.

Step 4: Garnish the rice with some coriander leaves and enjoy.
